TOWARDS A BETTER LIFE
An Introduction to SRV theory and the possibilities it creates
Wedenesday 28th February and Thursday 1st March 2018 Burwood Sydney
This two-day workshop will create a deeper awareness of the circumstances and issues faced by those marginalised by society and consider how to address them. You will be introduced to ideas and resources from SRV. It will cover the way we, as individuals or as part of a service, can respond, focusing on elements that can either help or hinder people having good lives. The event gives you the prerequisite introductory knowledge for attending PASSING. This two-day event is for anyone who is serious about improving the lives of devalued people such as people with disability, people who are ageing and receiving services, people with a mental illness and people experiencing poverty or homelessness. Anyone who is accessing or using the NDIS will find this event particularly useful.

PASSING An advanced, five day practical event
This live-in workshop is the 5 day advanced SRV event, PASSING. PASSING is one of the most potent and practical learning opportunities available in Australia and includes visits to two human services. It provides a detailed analysis of how human services impact on those served and how they can be designed based on individual needs.
Strongly recommended to those serious about their roles assisting people who are marginalised, especially those working in human services or advocating for services based on the person's needs.
Note: You must have completed the 2-day SRV workshop to register for PASSING
